Thanks for visiting The Robert Bickerton Foundation.         2011 Appeal: Midlands Air Ambulance
For 2009/2010, the Robert Bickerton Foundation chose to raise money
for the
Douglas Macmillan Hospice which is the only adult Hospice for the
people of North Staffordshire and surrounding villages.

An initial cheque for £4,000 was handed over in February 2010 to support the
work of the Douglas Macmillan hospice at Blurton.

In 2008, the Robert Bickerton Foundation raised £5,000 for the Midlands Air
Ambulance.

In 2007, the Robert Bickerton Foundation raised a whopping amount of
£7,500 for our Child appeal. £4,500 was given to
Ellie Mae Mellor, to help
pay for necessary home adjustments and treatments, and another £3,000
was donated to the
Donna Louise Hospice. The Donna Louise Hospice
cares and offers respite to terminally ill children.

We  would like to thank everyone who got involved and we hope that this
money will improve the lives of the children and also help to save lives by the
support for the Midlands Air Ambulance.
For 2011, the Robert Bickerton Foundation will again raise funds for the
Midlands Air Ambulance.
The air ambulance is 100% publicly funded and it is a cause very close to
our hearts.
A further cheque for £2,500 was handed over in June 2011 representing the
fundraising during the rest of 2010.
